The new trailer for “28 Years Later” has arrived with a look at how the rage virus has altered the world nearly three decades later and we’ve also got new plot details…
If you find sanctuary during a zombie apocalypse, it’s probably best to stay there but it appears some of the characters in “28 Years Later” don’t exactly heed that advice.
The latest trailer for the highly anticipated sequel from director Danny Boyle and writer Alex Garland gives a deeper look at what has happened to the world nearly 30 years after the rage virus escaped a laboratory and ravaged the world.
As part of the new trailer, we’ve also got our first real plot details for the movie, which you can read below:
“It’s been almost three decades since the rage virus escaped a biological weapons laboratory, and now, still in a ruthlessly enforced quarantine, some have found ways to exist amidst the infected. One such group of survivors lives on a small island connected to the mainland by a single, heavily-defended causeway.
“When one of the group leaves the island on a mission into the dark heart of the mainland, he discovers secrets, wonders, and horrors that have mutated not only the infected but other survivors as well.”
“28 Years Later” stars Jodie Comer, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Jack O’Connell, Alfie Williams and Ralph Fiennes with original star Cillian Murphy serving as an executive producer.
