The first full length trailer for the new film “Bring Her Back” has arrived as Danny and Michael Philippou — the breakout directors from the hit film “Talk to Me” — are ready to unleash their second feature film.
Starring Sally Hawkins, “Bring Her Back” is teased as a “soul-shaking possession horror” from the Philippou brothers and A24.
Here’s the synopsis for the film:
“A brother and sister uncover a terrifying ritual at the secluded home of their new foster mother.”
The trailer doesn’t reveal too much — a trait not shared by most trailers these days — but it certainly sets the stage for one of the most anticipated horror films of the year with “Bring Her Back” landing in theaters on May 30.
The Philippou brothers scored a hit with their first film after “Talk To Me” grossed $92 million at the worldwide box office on just a $4.5 million budget. The film not only got picked up by A24 after first debuting but the studio also quickly gave the green light on a sequel — “Talk 2 Me” — that’s already in the works.
For now, check out the new trailer and get ready for “Bring Her Back” coming soon.
